$125.00 for a 50 minute session
$220.00 for a 110 minute session (1 hour and 50 minutes)

$25.00 per quarter hour, or any fraction thereof, spent in commute to/from your home or office, 55.5 cents per mile traveled to and from your home or office, and the session fee.

Couple Counseling
$125.00 for a 50 minute session
$220.00 for a 110 minute session (1 hour and 50 minutes)

Group Counseling (five individuals and therapist)
$50.00 for a 1 hour and 50 minute session with a 10 minute break included

Written and Computer Scored Inventories and Surveys
$50 per inventory or survey (hand scored)
$10 per inventory or survey + supplier fee (computer scored)

Inventories and surveys are for treatment planning and not diagnosis. If diagnostic testing is required, the client will be referred to a clinical psychologist for this service; results will be reviewed with Dr. Hooper for treatment planning. Payment for diagnostic services will be made directly to the testing specialist.

Public speaking comes easily for me and I take great joy in seeing my audience experience those “ah ha!” moments. I will speak for as brief a time as 15 minutes and for as long as a weekend retreat. I am happy to speak from one of several perspectives: 1) Religious – speaking from my own system as a Christian in a progressive Lutheran and ecumenical tradition, 2) Spiritual – speaking from a position that recognizes certain insights and patterns that manifest in all forms of healthy religious traditions regardless of creed, 3) Motivational – speaking from a position that recognizes and celebrates the inherent capacity of humans for good and creative ways of being in this world. 4) Psycho-spiritual-educational – teaching on a topic of your choosing that best meets the purpose of your gathering.

Consider the topic or topics in the presentation you would like for me to present. One helpful way to determine this is to ask what you would like your audience to experience or gain during our time together as well as practice following our time together. Said differently, ask what change in belief and action you desire that our time together will achieve.

My practice is entirely “fee for service.” I will provide you a receipt with the appropriate CPT code (the code that indicates the length of time and type of counseling session). Some insurance companies will reimburse in part or full for out of network providers. Check first with your insurance company if you are not certain of their policy. I will not list a diagnosis on the receipt; nor will I provide the insurance company with your records, unless you request in writing that I do so.
