In the State of California: Dr. Brian Hooper practices Pastoral Counseling in accordance with section 2908 of the State of California Business and Professions Code, and does not provide services under the laws regulating licensed Marriage and Family Counselors, Clinical Social Workers, and Psychologists in the State of California. California has no provision to license Pastoral Counselors.
In the State of Tennessee: Dr. Brian Hooper practices as a state-licensed Clinical Pastoral Therapist (Tenn. CPT#54). As a licensed mental health professional, he may diagnose and treat individuals, couples, and families, and engage in professional consultations in the State of Tennessee.
