Chief among my preparatory experience for certification as a Fellow by the American Association of Pastoral Counselors (AAPC) was my privilege to have Dr. James Ewing, first executive director of AAPC and founding organizer of the doctoral program in pastoral counseling at St. Louis University, as my supervisor for the majority of my clinical supervision. I am also immensely grateful to have experienced significant time in supervision under Dr. Albert Stott, an American Association of Marriage and Family Therapist approved supervisor, who encouraged my work most especially in couple counseling.
